Account Executive – Marketing & Events

A 300Brand Account Coordinator provides support to the staff in all areas, including drafting marketing and event documents, supporting event management and execution, pitching media, and supporting general internal and external client project management. Primary Responsibilities
- Understand and maintain good working knowledge of client subject matter, including fluency in the terms, issues, trends, happenings, news, and innovation in the government IT industry
- Manage program development and execution for small-to-large-size events, both virtual and in-person, to include: developing social media and other marketing; managing registrations; conducting attendee and sponsor outreach; overseeing event logistics; securing live event venue or virtual event platform; securing and preparing speakers; developing program materials; and more
- Develop content for digital marketing campaigns and events, including event promotional materials, collateral copy, news releases, articles/blogs, prepared remarks, and other marketing-focused promotional copy
- Execute digital marketing campaigns, including advertising, social media, and email marketing
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of IT-focused legislation and industry/technology trends as well as client solutions and priorities
- Plan, forecast, and manage budget to program scope
- Manage client program goals and SLAs
- Deliver highly responsive service and build positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintain proactive, clear, and consistent communication with client including driving deadlines against project timeline
- Manage client reporting and other client administrative duties
- Maintain awareness and understanding of 300Brand’s portfolio of services
- Contribute ideas to program development for the client and for new business proposals
Skills Required
- Must have 2-4 years agency (or similar) experience, with technology marketing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work quickly across multiple projects of various sizes and in various stages of completion
- Experience with digital marketing campaign execution
- Experience in virtual event/conference execution support
- BA or BS degree
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong project management skills and an eye for details
- Understanding of government community
- Email marketing/automation experience
- Ability to track, understand, and write about implications of public policy issues
- Established record delivering results on marketing and event programs
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to take initiative and be a problem solver
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to generate ideas and think creatively
- Ability to work within assigned budgets
- Ability to supervise the work of Account Coordinators and Interns
- Ability to supervise multiple tasks simultaneously
- Business presentation skills, including development
- Good listening skills
