Senior Account Executive

A Senior Account Executive serves as a project manager across event, marketing, and/or public relations programs. He or she researches, designs, and implements client projects, recommends effective marketing and communications solutions to meet goals; manages program deliverables, coaches and guides the work of 1-2 team members, tracks budgets, coordinates with our creative and research teams; and drives successful results for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage client program goals and SLAs; deliver highly responsive service and build positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Maintain proactive, clear, and consistent communication with client
  • Write and edit news releases, articles, presentations, speeches, and marketing promotional copy
  • Secure and coordinate press interviews and tours, and maintain consistent cadence of press placements in business, trade, and consumer media outlets
  • Stay up-to-date on IT-focused legislation and industry/technology trends. Incorporate into event and program planning
  • Coordinate events and trade show activities
  • Manage demand generation marketing programs
  • Provide supervision, direction, and support to assigned team members
  • Manage client reporting and other client administrative duties
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of 300Brand’s portfolio of services
  • Contribute ideas to program development for the client and for new business proposals

Skills Required

  • Tech industry knowledge/experience – business to government preferred
  • Ability to track, understand, and write about implications of public policy issues
  • Established record delivering results on marketing and PR programs
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Ability to take initiative and be a problem solver
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to write strategic materials for client

Other Recommended Qualifications

  • Knowledge of government IT market
  • BA or BS degree
  • Email marketing best practices (Marketo proficiency helpful)
  • Four-to-six years in technology PR, public affairs, marketing, or event management
